Reflections

Reflections is about the passage of time and the layered presence of past and present in a single place. Through shifts in light and form, Turner blends physical structures with their remembered counterparts, so that what was and what remains share the canvas. The work is rooted in historical study, and its point is that history lingers even when it is unseen.
