Walking on Water

This work incorporates findings from the discovery of a first-century fishing vessel in the Sea of Galilee, often called the “Jesus Boat.” Turner adjusted the scale and structure of the boat to show how small and vulnerable such vessels truly were. The scene is about faith under threat, and it grounds the biblical account in physical reality.
