Behold the Lamb of God — The Nativity
This nativity scene comes from extensive research into first-century Bethlehem, including the use of stone mangers instead of wooden ones. Turner places Christ’s birth in the same caves where sacrificial lambs were raised for the Temple. Even small details, such as the presence of female shepherds, are historically grounded.
